About this data

1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity (a common benchmark for a household’s monthly use) at AES Ohio’s rate, plus 70 hundred cubic feet of natural gas (about 840 Ccf a year, typical of an Ohio home heated with gas, averaged across the year) at the former CenterPoint Energy Ohio territory’s rate, from our electric and natural gas rate pages. This is the supply portion only: delivery charges, customer charges and taxes on the actual bill are not included, and real use swings with the seasons.
