We want every article to be right. If you see something that isn’t, please tell us.
How to request a correction
- Email info@daytonreport.com, or reply to any email from us. Tell us which article (a link or the headline), what it says, and what it should say.
- Include a source if you can: a link to a public record, an official page, or a document. It’s the fastest way for us to confirm the fix.
- Your name is optional.
What happens next
- We confirm we got your request, usually within a day.
- We check it against the source. An editor reviews and approves every correction before an article changes, normally within two business days.
- If we can’t confirm it, we’ll tell you what we’d need.
How corrections appear
- When we correct a fact, we fix the article and add a note at the end: “Correction, [date]: …” saying what changed.
- Small fixes that don’t change a fact (a typo, a broken link) are made without a note.
- Home sale articles: either agent on the sale can ask us to update details or take the article down by replying to the email we sent them.
