About this data

Residential electric supply (generation) rates for AES Ohio, which serves Dayton, from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio’s Energy Choice Ohio comparison chart. The default rate is AES Ohio’s Price to Compare, what customers who haven’t chosen a supplier pay for generation. The cheapest offer is the lowest-priced supplier offer that is fixed for 12 months with no monthly fee and no introductory or promotional terms; offers with gift cards, teaser rates or monthly charges are left out so the figure compares like with like. These are supply rates only: AES Ohio’s delivery charges, which every customer pays, are not included. We check the chart every day and record the first reading of each month.
