The Centerville Salt Room is a halotherapy and massage business located at 65 S. Main Street at Independence Square in Centerville, Ohio. According to its website, it offers halotherapy, also called salt therapy, which takes place in a room enclosed in salt, along with massage services provided by licensed massage therapists.
The website describes halotherapy as a natural, drug-free, non-invasive treatment suitable for all ages, including children. A machine called a halogenerator grinds pharmaceutical-grade salt into fine particles and releases them into the room. The business states that it is the first halotherapy clinic in Greater Dayton and Ohio. The site lists conditions such as asthma, allergies, and eczema, but notes that these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and that the product is not intended to diagnose, cure, or prevent any disease.
Customers can book through the "Book Now" link on the website or call or text (937) 681-3428 to check availability. Walk-ins are accepted, though the business recommends calling ahead. The listed hours are Tuesday through Saturday, with the business closed on Mondays and Sundays.
