About this data

Monthly statistics from closed residential sales reported to the MLS in Montgomery, Greene, Miami, Warren counties, by close date. Only aggregates are published, never individual listings. Medians are used where a few unusual sales would skew an average. West Dayton is ZIP codes 45402, 45405, 45406, 45416, 45426, 45417. Cities and townships appear once they have enough sales most months. Price cuts compare each home’s final list price with its original list price. Days on market start in May 2025, when the MLS changed that field to count only days a home was actively listed; earlier figures ran from listing to closing and aren’t comparable, so they’re left out. Homes for sale and new listings come from monthly MLS listing counts; months of supply divides homes for sale by that month’s sales. Measures appear once there is enough data for them.
