What the Final Polls Said About Ohio’s Races

Posted on November 3, 2026November 3, 2026 by Dayton Report

Compiled from published polls and published race ratings, each linked to its source. Dayton Report does not conduct polls, forecast races or call winners from polls.

Polls are a snapshot, not a prediction; results tonight are what count. Polls close at 7:30 p.m. Unofficial results for Ohio’s races and Montgomery County will post at daytonreport.com/montgomery-county-election-results as counting begins.

How this roundup works

For each race, the polls listed are those released publicly by the pollster or a news organization, with the pollster, sponsor, field dates, sample and margin of error as published. Where at least 3 independent polls (not paid for by a campaign, party, political action committee, advocacy group or trade group) ended their field work in the 30 days before Election Day, the roundup shows a simple average of them, counting only each pollster’s latest poll. Undecided and other responses are left as published, so averages don’t add to 100. Race ratings are quoted as each forecaster published them, and only where the forecaster’s own page could be checked.

Governor and lieutenant governor

On the ballot: Amy Acton (D), Vivek Ramaswamy (R), Don Kissick (Libertarian).

Average of 10 independent polls with field dates ending Oct 6 to Nov 1: Amy Acton 49%, Vivek Ramaswamy 45%. Not every poll asked about Don Kissick, so that candidate has no average.
